Tony Selak

Based in Melbourne, Tony knows what’s involved in running a business having over 10 years experience as a business owner. Through hard work and discipline, Tony was able to grow his first business by 300% within the first 5 years. Whilst running his own business, Tony successfully completed a multi-unit residential property development, which was completed on time and within budget.

Tony was drawn to business brokering because he successfully sold and marketed his own businesses for sale. Finding a buyer for his businesses sparked an interest in business brokering, which Tony couldn’t ignore.

Prior to running his own business, Tony worked for a big four bank as a business banker for 8 years where he financed & managed hundreds of different commercial clients. Commercial banking experience has given Tony exposure to a breadth of different industries & business structures. The deal-making skills and financial acumen gained in commercial banking has been useful in business brokering.

With over two decades of business experience, Tony’s extensive business experience is extremely valuable to our clients. 

A passionate Carlton football supporter, Tony also enjoys playing golf as a way to stay fit & healthy. Tony is married with two children and often spends his time outside of work taxing his kids to different sporting events!

Tony’s tough lesson:

Whilst running his own business, Tony’s company files were “locked” by a cyber-attack in 2018. Following a few sleepless nights, Tony was able to unlock his company files and has since implemented a robust cyber protection strategy at his home and work.
